Leominster Football Hall of Fame

In 2010, Gilbert Donatelli, along with co-founder Mark Bodanza, established the Leominster Football Hall of Fame with the object of honoring, and preserving for future generations, the rich heritage of Leominster football.

        Gilbert Donatelli

        Gil, as he is known to his friends, has made a significant number of contributions to Leominster football. As chairman of the Doyle Field Commission, he is charged with overseeing one of the state’s finest football venues. In 2002, along with four other publicly spirited individuals, Gil helped organize the Doyle Field Foundation, a private non-profit corporation that has raised over $6 million used to rehabilitate and improve Doyle Field. Gil has directly overseen the fundraising efforts and currently serves the Foundation as its president, a post he has held since 2005.

        Mark Bodanza

        Mark C. Bodanza is an accomplished writer, avid historian and successful trial lawyer. He has written thirteen books, as well as numerous newspaper columns and has been a guest commentator on radio and television programs nationwide. He has also appeared as a lecturer at schools and colleges throughout the country. He lives in Massachusetts with his wife and children.
