Definitely not the end Blue Devil Nation wanted but I am so proud of these kids and coaches. Leave no doubt that Leominster football is back better than ever! I have seen glory years and down years. I consider this year a glory year. It was a definite return to Leominster football at its best. Coach Devin Gates has a heart of gold and truly cares about his players and it shows week after week. It was an emotional end of the playoff run but they gave it all tonight and all season. I’ve said it many times before, I am so fortunate for 47 years to be associated with Leominster sports and especially the football program. One more to go on Thanksgiving to put exclamation point on a terrific season!
